Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 2025
1. Our Commitment to Privacy
At United Curators Association (UCA), privacy is not just a legal requirement; it is the cornerstone of our safety and our existence. We understand that as independent curators, discretion is vital. This document outlines exactly how we handle your data, ensuring full transparency and security.
2. Registration & Verification Data
Regarding the "United Curators Association Registration Form":
We require specific information to verify your registration, to be able to contact you, and to ensure you meet the criteria to join the association (legitimacy check). Only once we have verified that the information provided is correct will you become a member, granting access to our chat, tools, and services.
Important: The data collected during registration will only be used for internal administration and verification purposes. It will never be shared internally with other members nor with third parties.
Note: Filling the form with false information or trying to supplant another person will cause your registration request to be denied immediately.
3. Member Anonymity & Internal Interaction
We distinguish between Verification Data (seen only by Admins) and Community Identity (seen by other members).
- Verification: We need to know who you are to prevent bots, spies, and bad actors from entering the union.
- Chat Anonymity: Once verified, every curator has the right to act anonymously within the community chat. You are free to use a pseudonym to protect your identity from other members if you wish.
4. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure
The safety of the UCA depends on the silence of its members regarding internal strategies. By joining the association, every curator agrees to a strict Code of Confidentiality:
Information shared within the private chats, internal documents, tools, or discussions regarding other members' identities must not be shared with outside parties. Any breach of this trust will result in immediate expulsion and potential legal action.
5. International Compliance (GDPR & CCPA)
We operate globally and respect the highest data protection standards of both the European Union (GDPR) and the United States.
Your Rights
- Right to Access: You may ask what data we hold about you.
- Right to Deletion: You may request the complete deletion of your registration data if you choose to leave the association.
- No Sale of Data: We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.
6. Contact Us
If you have any questions or concerns about why we require specific information, please write to us. We are happy to answer them.
